RecipeBuffers Mod 1.16.5/1.16.4 is a useful mod when it helps the player add more mods before they reach the 2 MiB limit. See how the utility runs now!
How RecipeBuffers works
In new MC releases, the recipes are often moved to the client on login. It’s essential for datapacks to join instructions.
But, they are sent in a single packet. In case the size exceeds 2 MiB, the connection will be paused with an error “badly compressed packets”. It is the reason we have the current creation.
The mod supplements a few optimizations. These additions will cut down the size of the packet. Therefore, more mods can appear before you run out of space.
It’s necessary for you to install it on the client and server.
RecipeBuffers is a handy mod that makes the size of the pack is around half the one it would be. Let’s install Minecraft Forge and test its functions!
