MTLib (Forge) Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2/1.10.2 functions in Minecraft in the form of a library. This library is required by lots of addons for the CraftTweaker mod.
It is like other API and Library mods. The purpose of this library is to help other mods function in the game by providing them with a set of code.
The library is made by jaredIII08. Since it supports other mods in terms of functioning in the game, it has to be installed before other mods.
The reason why the author uses the library is that it helps him save resources and time when his mods need to be updated or fixed.
All the supported mods share the same code. Therefore, the author put that code into this library. This helps to decrease the size of the file as well as save time.
Although the library does not do anything on its own, it is still worth your experience, especially when you use it with other mods that it supports. For this library, it gives some useful methods as well as classes.

How to install:
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% -> click Run.
- Input where mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods name folder.
- When open Minecraft, click the button mods, you see the mod is installed.
