Ores Above Diamonds [Forge] Mod 1.18.1/1.16.5/1.12.2 adds ores to the Minecraft game that brings two types of ores, Amethyst and Black Opal. This useful mod makes crafting armor and tools easier.
About Ores Above Diamonds mod
If you feel that Diamond tools and clothes are not strong enough, then this mod will be useful for you. Mod adds to the game 2 new minerals, rarer and stronger than Diamond.
The first is the Amethyst ore. Amethyst is a purple and pink diamond. You can only mine it with Diamond Pickaxe. When you dig Amethyst ore, you will have Amethyst and Amethyst used to make tools, as well as clothes.
The second is Black Opal ore. Black Opal is extremely powerful and also extremely rare. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll be able to dig it with an Amethyst Pickaxe. Black Opal ore will drop Black Opal. You can use it to craft clothes and tools with more amazing abilities.

- Reduces damage by 84% when fully equipped.
- The health protection effect when you wear a full outfit made from Amethyst is 25% greater than that of Diamond.
Black Opal
- You can mine it with the Amethyst Pickaxe in Ores Above Diamonds mod
- 16 times rarer than Diamond.
- Performance than Dimond 100%.
- Infinite durability.
- 2 more Attack Damage compared to Diamond (Black Opal Sword gives 9 Attack Damage while Diamond Sword gives 7 Attack Damage).
- 5 more Enchantability (enchantability) compared to Diamond (Diamond has 10 Enchantability, Gold has 25 Enchantability, Black Opal has 15 Enchantability).
- Added 4 Toughness per clothing item compared to Diamond (Diamond for 2 Toughness, Black Opal for 6 Toughness).
- Reduces damage by 88% when fully equipped.
- The health protection effect when you wear a full outfit from Black Opal is 67% greater than that of Diamond.
- Enchantability helps to get more advanced enchantments at a low price. Meanwhile, Toughness reduces damage from high-damage attacks. You can customize almost every value in the config.

How to install:
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% -> click Run.
- Input where mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods name folder.
- When open Minecraft, click the button mods, you see the mod is installed.
