OfflineSkins Mod 1.12.2 is an extremely useful mod in the Minecraft game that allows Minecraft players to display their skins even if the server is in offline mode. This is really a necessary mod that you should try to experience in the future.
About OfflineSkins mod
As you know in the game Minecraft, a default skin is randomly assigned to the character depending on your ID. If you want to change, you can only do it in Online mode because Minecraft has a dedicated skin server that downloads custom skins of all online players.
But when the server is down, your character will wear the default skin. That means that for players with a copyrighted Minecraft experience, they can’t even see their own skin despite paying for it when playing the game on an offline server. Now, this situation has been completely fixed when using this mod.
After installing this mod, you can use your custom skin and show off your skin on the unofficial server. In case the normal skin does not load, this mod will use the provided file to load the skin for your character or someone else’s.
OfflineSkins mod requires Minecraft Forge to work effectively.
